Blake Lewis founded Lewis Public Relations, Three Box’s predecessor firm, in 2000. He specializes in developing marketing strategy, crisis communications, thought leadership and community relations programming. As Principal and a strategic communications expert, Blake assists in developing strategy for Three Box clients and is responsible for business development within the Three Box organization.

Prior to Three Box, Blake was a member of the global corporate communications team for EDS (now Hewlett Packard Enterprise). Previously, he held senior-level roles at Edelman, following program and leadership positions at the American Heart Association, a regional level-II medical center and a boutique advertising and public relations firm in the Midwest.

Blake earned a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunicative Arts with a minor in sociology and counseling and elective studies in electrical engineering and physics from Iowa State University. He’s a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), earned the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential in 1985 and was inducted into the Society’s College of Fellows in 2005. Blake is a past national treasurer, national secretary and board member of PRSA, and a former chair of the Universal Accreditation Board. Currently, he chairs the Board of Directors of Communities In Schools Dallas Region, is Vice President for the Richardson Youth Leadership program of the Leadership Richardson Alumni Association Board and serves as a member of the board of Richardson Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.
